STOMPer viky offered a seat to a pregnant woman on the train. However, the woman not only gave a sulky face, but also failed to thank the STOMPer.
Said viky:
"MRT Reserved Seats taken for granted.
"As we all know, there have been countless videos on the internet of how the senior citizens have been behaving regarding Reserved Seats.
"Are pregnant ladies too arrogant already?
"I feel that not all but some are...
"On July 12, I was on the MRT towards Jurong East.
"At Paya Lebar station, a pregnant lady boarded the MRT.
"I was yet to notice her as I was engrossed in the game I was playing on my mobile phone.
"Just a few seconds later, I looked up and I saw a pregnant lady. I quickly grabbed my bag to give up my seat for her.
"In return, she gave me a very sulky face and did not even say thank you.
"Is this category of people taking their right to be prioritised and have a seat given up for them for granted?
"Where are your manners?
"Are Singaporeans really losing their pleasant side and turning nasty?
"As a Singaporean, I feel upset to see a scarce population of nice courteous people! ):"
