STOMPer Warren said police officers from the special operations unit and SCDF officers broke into a flat unit at Block 115 Bedok North Road this afternoon (June 22). SCDF says a 40-year-old man was subsequently arrested by police.
An inflatable safety cushion was set up at the foot of the block.
Said the STOMPer, who was at the scene at about 5pm:
"Drama at Bedok North Road. Police special operations unit and SCDF's DART team had to break into a house to prevent someone from getting hurt.
SCDF said they received a call about the incident at 3.49pm today and arrived at the scene within six minutes to perform rescue operations.
They set up an inflatable safety cushion and a rescue net.
According to the SCDF, a 40-year-old male Chinese was later arrested by the police.
