STOMPer Ong KS's uncle was on the way to work when he witnessed an accident at Havelock Road. A taxi made a reckless illegal turn and knocked a motorcyclist off the road.
Ong KS said:
"My uncle recorded this video on his way to work.
"It took place around 6am at Havelock Road.
"The motorcyclist exited Havelock at CTE.
"The taxi then cross the double white line and turn into subordinate court.
"I hope the rider is okay."
In response to a query from STOMP, a spokesperson for the police said:
"Police received a call on the 6th of August at 6.05am informing us of an accident along Havelock Road.
"Upon police's arrival, it was established that an accident involving a taxi and a motorcycle had occurred at the said location.
"The motorcycle rider was subsequently conveyed to SGH.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
