The members of K-Pop idol group Girls' Generation are the so-called 'Goddesses' of the South Korean army. In North Korea, however, they have not a girl group but a girl troupe of the same level as Girls' Generation to boost the morale of its army.
While celebrities visit military troops to boost their morale in South Korea, an all singing all dancing girl troupe lends its hand in uplifting the solders' spirits in North Korea.
The troupe, composed of outstanding beauty queens, is assigned to provide entertainment not only for the soldiers, but also the privileged class, and even been mobilised on the international stage such as at the Busan Asian Games.
