Beating 11 other finalists at the CLEO Runway Search was Siti Nadiah, who was crowned the next runway star last Saturday (May 19).
The ITE student, 19, standing at 1.71m tall, was encouraged to sign up for the competition in hope of getting more exposure and boosting her confidence.
With more to boast of, Siti recently won ITE-Carrie's Next Top Model pageant at ITE College East, and got into the top 25 of The New Paper New Face 2012 competition.
The CLEO Runway Search, held for only the second time, is an islandwide search for the next runway star - an initiative to promote local talent and kickstart the modelling career of a real-girl who has the looks, personality and tenacity to be a top model.
As the winner of the CLEO Runway Search 2012, Siti will walk away with a one-year modelling contract with Carrie Models, $1,000 worth of products from Levi's, $1,000 cash prize and a six-page fashion spread in CLEO.
