STOMPer Alamak was perturbed by an elderly van driver who was driving recklessly on an expressway on Tuesday (May 15). According to the STOMPer, the driver was speeding on the expressway and constantly driving in zigzags so as to overtake other vehicles.
The STOMPer wrote:
"In light of the recent horrific accident at Rochor Road and Victoria Street, I am shocked to see this elderly van driver still driving dangerously on Tuesday afternoon (May 15).
"He dangerously overtook us at lane 1 -- the outermost lane -- near the Singapore Sports School, and sped all the way thereafter.
"We drove at 80 to 90kmh to catch up with the van driver yet we are unable to catch up with him still.
"This elderly drive zigzags in and out on the expressways, from the outer lanes to middle lane and inner lanes, many times.
"He even overtook the heavy vehicles and cars many times.
"The driver is a male elderly driver of a van, of license plate number GV2756R, who disregards his own safety and endangers others by driving at 100kmh and in zigzags while overtaking heavy vehicles as well as other cars -- all this when his van speed limit is 70kmh.
"There are at least 15 speed cameras installed along the expressway from woodlands to the TPE but he ignores them all.
"This can result in a fatal accident if he is not agile in his speedy overtakes and will affect many road users as the traffic was heavy with many heavy vehicles too.
"A report has been made to the Traffic Police with these pictures."

Yesterday the new reported that the no of speeding offenses dropped le...
But this is photo evidence le...
So the only possible thing is...
1. BS report
2. Report is real but reason why there were lesser offenses if cos there are lesser police who are actually patrolling the roads.
3. Cos bonus time not here yet... so the authorities not so hard working yet.
