Dawn gave up an opportunity to further her career in Australia for Augustine and for that he is extremely grateful that she cherishes their relationship as much as he does.

"In the myriad of love stories that flood the internet today, it’s easy to find one that would suffice for a teenage girl’s sleepover night.
"Also, It seems like a good love story has got to have the heartbreaking drama of how two people goes against all odds to be together.
"To me, recounting my own love story with my loved one beats watching yet another romantic drama. It’s plain, simple and most importantly, I shall carry our love story in my heart for the rest of my days.
"I remember the day we first met. I remember how there was not a single trace of cloud above the sky and the sun was kissing our skins.
"We were introduced to each other through our friends. It was her charisma and her cheerfulness in our first moments together that carved her straight to my soul.
"I remember withholding my desire to keep talking to her to avoid looking like a total creeper. It’s hard to keep that balance between social conformity and what your heart commands you. But I think I made a good enough impression to get another date.
"'Wanna have dinner sometime?' sounds cliché, but oh well, that worked.
"Though every of our dates were memorable, the exact reason why I fell in love with her was how time proved everything. It’s hard to consistently include someone in your life, make an effort to make sure the other person is okay.
"The real lover is not somebody who momentarily does something extraordinary, but a person who would tirelessly keep you in their actions. They cover you in sheets when you fall asleep, asking about your day everyday, remembering to take out your whites from the laundry, taking cue and giving you a good massage when you’re merely squeezing your temples, you get the picture.
"I got the whole package. I got the golden deal. And everyday, I wake up to a warm, pleasant hug, knowing my day is going to go well and there is nothing I can’t conquer.
I am grateful for everything and I try my best to show that in every waking minute.
"We’ve had conflicts of interest, but because of our deep respect for one another, we could always sort it out and compromise. The road to everlasting love is never easy, but I bear testimony to how to very person you have conflict with could be your very solution to that conflict.

"During the time when we just started out and both of us had many doubts, there came a huge blow to our relationship. She had to be relocated to Australia permanently, because of various reasons. The move seemed inevitable and we had just grown to rely very much on each other.
"I asked her to stay, but she couldn’t. Because that was a huge opportunity in her career to go and that was something I could not understand.
"It was made worse when I couldn’t even see her off at the airport because of work. On that day, I was ready to give up. I cried, feeling an immense loss and a heavy heart.
"The next morning, I woke up to another warm pleasant hug yet again. Was I dreaming?
"No.
"She had given up her chances in life for me. It was a sacrifice. It was love over material gains.
