Neighbour in debt with loan sharks but resident gets paint splashed on door
STOMPer Sulaimi is furious to find his door splashed with red paint by loan sharks, when his neighbour was the one in debt with them. This happened at Woodlands Ave 6.
The STOMPer said:
"Neighbour's loan is causing my unit to be harassed. The neighbour has apologised for the inconvenience caused and sent cleaners to clean up the mess that left my door and gate looking very unsightly.
"The Police advised us to clean up the mess ourselves. They assured us that the loan sharks would not harm my family but may only splash paint again and nothing more.
"Easy said. Even three cleaners couldn't finish cleaning up the mess in three hours! The paint over is still yet to be done."

Seems there are few tactics going around. Deposit first then call the unsuspecting victim to ask for payment ( how they did it unknown ). Call and ascertain a loan but did not deposit funds but call for payment after some time ( even up to 10 mths later ) or agree at a certain %tage then jack up later. ( this applies to the renegade ones ) There are some who call and verify ur details next thing u know u got "a loan ". Info from various sources. Tandem is : If $ is really borrowed negotiation goes a long way. IF $ was never borrowed and tricks were devised to cream the victim of $ that is old school Daylight robbery.

Those loan shark got no ball, can't collect back $ from borrower, just know how to get other to get from them. Really no BALL..

My unit too was "painted" twice by these *****s last year. First was black paint and the second was orange. I did not owe any $ but my neighbor cos their unit number was written all over the wall. Guess what ! My neighbour was not even apologetic. You can ask your town council to redo the painting of wall outside your unit. If the floor is badly "damaged" by the paint, ask the town council to resurface the floor. Lastly, buy a big plastic sheet to protect your door. What the police can do, is only taking down your statement. Till know, I have yet to receive any update from them... AND I have given up calling their Investigation Officer.
