1 A perfectly-groomed brow can change the shape of the face, said the late, celebrated make-up artist Kevyn Aucoin.

Here’s how to get a lovely strong brow. Apply foundation and powder. Fill in your brows with Majolica Majorca’s Brow Customize. Use the sword-cut eyebrow pencil (Brow Customize has different tips) and fill in the colour over two thirds of each brow, starting at the tail end.

2 Using the spool brush attached, brush brows in the direction of the hair growth. Use short strokes and start at the tail end of the brow, for more even distribution of the product.

The eyebrow-powder applicator tip is best for girls with dense brows that need a little filling in. For a defined, pin-up girl look, use Majolica Majorca’s super-slim eyebrow pencil. Wear siren-red lipstick to complete the look.

1 Using red eyeliner seems daring at first, but it actually gives the face a glow. First, apply black liner thinly, just above the lashline.

2 Apply red eyeliner directly above the black, drawing both lines to about the same length. Add a little “wing” on the end of each red line for a more geisha look.

Here’s a handy tip whether you’re using coloured eyeliner or not – don’t apply it too thickly as this actually makes eyes look smaller.

And those going for red should note that using a matte-look liner would give the impression of swollen eyes. This Neo Automatic Liner has a shiny, metallic finish.

Pair red eyeliner with colours such as brown, gold, grey and silver. Blue and green give too much contrast.

1 White eyeliner helps to open up eyes. According to make-up artist Marcus, pearl-white eyeliner can be worn on its own with just a light coat of mascara. It’s a look that is office- appropriate, yet suitable for nights out.

Use Majolica Majorca’s Neo Automatic Liner in pearl white. Twist the dial of the eyeliner pen, then dab the brush tip on the back of your hand to get rid of the excess. Draw a line roughly 2mm in width just above the lashline.

2 Curl and comb lashes, apply mascara, and – voila! – captivating, come-hither eyes are yours.

1 Use the GD886 palette ($27.50) from the latest collection, Chapter 23, to create this look. Highlight the inner corners of eyes and the brow bones with the lightest colour in the palette. Shade the eyelid area from lashline to socket with chrome yellow from the palette. Then, apply bronze eyeshadow on the outer corners of the eyes to create depth.

2 Apply the darkest colour in the palette along the lashline, with the strongest concentr tion of colour applied on the outer corners of the eyes. Line the outer two thirds of the lower lashline for a dramatic effect.

3 Lastly, define the eyes using the green Neo Automatic Liner. Two strokes and you’re done. Marcus adds that this look is sultry, yet still retains a fresh, youthful flavour. Though it takes more time to create, this look is distinctive enough for formal events.
